OpenGradient Chat has a new address.
We're now called DreamFort, and we live at www.dreamfort.ai. Same app, same team, same account. Since October 8, chat.opengradient.ai redirects here. Your account came with you, but the conversations saved in your browser stayed with the address that made them.

Everything you generated was saved in your browser, and browsers keep that storage separate for every address. What you made on chat.opengradient.ai stayed with that address, and since it began redirecting here on October 8 it can no longer be opened.

A session belongs to one address too, so www.dreamfort.ai asks you to sign in once. It's the same account.

The move, in detail
- What happened on October 8?
- chat.opengradient.ai started redirecting to www.dreamfort.ai. Until then it served the very same app, and for the two weeks before it, a notice there asked everyone to export their chats. Since then the browser never loads that address again, so the chats, images and videos saved under it can no longer be opened.
- Can I get my old chats back?
- Not from us, and not by copying them across. Chats were stored encrypted in your browser under a key that can never leave it, which is what keeps them private from us — and it's also why nothing could quietly lift them from one address to another. If you exported a backup from chat.opengradient.ai before October 8, that archive is yours to keep and read.
- How do I back up my conversations now?
- Open Settings → Export Chat History. You'll get an archive of your threads plus the images and videos still held on this device. It's worth doing periodically — anything kept only in a browser is one cleared cache or one reinstalled browser away from being gone.
- Why do my credits still show up but my chats don't?
- Because they live in different places. Credits are on your account, on our servers, keyed to you. Chats never touch our servers — they're on your device, in the browser, scoped to the address that created them. That's the privacy trade-off working as designed.
- Do old links still work?
- Yes. Links and bookmarks to chat.opengradient.ai land on the same page at www.dreamfort.ai. If you added the old address to your home screen, it opens here now; reinstalling from www.dreamfort.ai keeps the app's name and icon up to date.
